Mark started Karate at the age of 11 with Sensei Dev Barrett and achieved his 1st Dan Black belt at the age of 16.

He has been teaching for the last 13 years and has had his own Karate club since he was 18 years old.

He gained his 2nd Dan Blackbelt in 1994, his 3rd Dan Blackbelt in 2003 (Grade A-) and his first of 7 National Kickboxing Titles in 1997. In 2010 he was awarded his 4th Dan Black Belt by ECKA.

He has also gained a Silver Medal in the World Kickboxing Championships in Holland 1998.

The Milton Keynes Club has produced no fewer than 9 National Champions in Semi-Contact and Continuous fighting and became both overall Semi-Contact Club Champions and overall Continuous Club Champions in UK for 2002.
